Second Street Speed rocker is shown (left) along with a stock unit. You can notice the SSS rockers have a roller tip and a channel that the valve tip rides in. The stock lifter uses a C-channel designed into the lifter body. You can also see the small ball on the SSS lifter that fits into the cup on the top of the lifters. The stocker uses a cup that rides on the top of the hydraulic lifter.
