Q1. How much does it cost
to run my car on the chassis dyno to see how much horsepower I have.
A1. The cost is $125.00 and includes three pulls, but no tuning.
Q2. How much does it cost
to tune on the chassis dyno, and how long does it take?
A2. It costs $150.00
per hour to tune your car on the dyno. As for how long it will take, it
depends on the car, but it's usually between 2 and 4 hours.
Q3. Do you have an engine
dyno?
A3. Yes. If you would
like prices, or have questions about the engine dyno please
contact
us.
Q4. I have a '69 Camaro
with a big block, can you put fuel injection on it?
A4. Yes. We can fuel
inject a weed- whacker if you really, really want to.
Q5. But a '69 Camaro
never had fuel injection, and it doesn't have a computer.
A5. That's not a
problem, we use computers and fuel injection parts from several
different aftermarket companies including; Accel, Motec, Weldon,
Holley.
Q6.Where do I have to
bring my car to have an aftermarket EFI system installed and tuned?
A6. We install and
tune aftermarket fuel injection systems right at our shop in
Perkasie.
Q7. How do I get to the
shop?
A7. If you go to our
contact
section, you'll find detailed directions.
Q8. Will my car pass an
emissions test with an aftermarket EFI system?
A8. The cam, heads,
and other engine parts mainly determine whether the vehicle will
pass the sniffer or not. Compared to a carburetor, an aftermarket EFI
system can more precisely control the fuel delivery to the engine so it
may help the vehicle pass.
Q9. My late model car has
an airbag. Can I still use an aftermarket EFI system?
A9. Yes. We will
piggy-back the aftermarket computer with the stock computer. The
aftermarket computer will handle the engine functions, and the stock
computer will handle functions like the airbag.
Q10. How much does the
custom chip burning cost if I have a Ford EEC-V equipped vehicle?
A10. Pricing starts at
$375.00.
